Thai Featherweight prospect Rachamongkol Kokietgym who is the former WBC Asia Super Bantamweight titlist won the vacant WBC International Featherweight belt by an impressive KO6 over the local fighter In-Suk Song on June 19 at the Citizen Hall in Osan City, South Korea.
Rachmongkol sent the Korean fighter to the canvas for 8-count in round 2 via his big left uppercut. After round 4 he had won in 3 scorecards; 39-36, 39-38, and 39-38. In round 6, the Thailander landed many blow and follow by his big left uppercut to Song’ s chin. The Korean was down to the canvas and could not comeback to the game. Rachamongkol improved his record to 8-1-0; 5KO, while Song’s record was worsened to 9-5-0.
