The World Boxing Council concept “Boxing Season” is celebrating its fifth anniversary since it was instituted under the leadership of its creator the great Russian boxing commissioner, Edmund Lipinski.
Boxing Season is a point system through which the boxers that are ranked by the WBC get points for every fight held, in the following way:
For different concepts, such as fights, wins, wins by KO, quality of the opponent (ranked or unbeaten), and if it is a title bout.
From January 1st to December 31st there is always a winner in every division and a total winner.
