Denver Cuello defended his title with fourth round TKO win over the game challenger Mating Kilakil at the jam-packed Ynares Plaza in Binangonan, Rizal, around 36 kilometers East of Manila in the Philippines.
It was a very exciting and brutal bout from the opening bell with both fighters exchanges hard blows until Cuello, who landed most powerful and telling blows in each round, caught Kilakil with a single but devastating left uppercut. Kilakil went down on his pants near his corner and before he got on his feet at the count of 9, he looked at his cornerman and seems saying he can’t take any punch anymore. our friend ref Gene del Bianco stopped the fight at 1:26 of that round.
i attached here some of the photos. after this, i’m going to the venue of the lopez-makiyama bout.
