Jackie “La Princesa Azteca” Nava (20-3-2, 10 KOs) se convirtió en tres veces campeona del mundo en las 122 libras con una buena actuación frente a Shantel Martínez (8-3, 1 KO). Nava conquistó el campeonato supergallo del CMB por decisión unánime en diez asaltos para recuperar el título que ya había ganado dos veces antes. Nava dominó la pelea, a pesar de una lesion en la pierna derecha en el séptimo round . Recibió un fuerte derechazo en el ronund ocho y cayó pero se levantó , y siguió al frente para llegar a la campanada final y obtener una mercida victoria.

‘Aztec Princess’ Jackie Nava (20-3-2, 10 KOs) became a three time world champion at 122 pounds with a gutty performance over Shantel Martinez (8-3, 1 KO). Nava captured the WBC super bantamweight championship with a ten round unanimous decision to reclaim a title she had won twice before. Nava dominated the fight but hurt her right leg in the seventh round and had a hard time moving. She was caught with a big right hand in the eight round and went down. She got up, however, and kept going in the last round on one leg but made it to the final bell to get a hard earned victory.
