The World Boxing Council and WBC World Boxing Cares would like to publicly thank Dr. Michael Schwartz of AAPRP and Dr Rufus Sandler for helping us with a young family who has tragically discovered that their baby has cancer. Dr Sandler has offered to act as advocate for this father, who is not fluent in English and works at a boxing gym in New York, so that he understands fully what’s involved.
We are very proud of these men. Also of the organizations that would inspire people to do this.
