El Consejo Mundial de Boxeo da a conocer que está de luto por el fallecimiento de la esposa de uno de nuestros miembros, Major Lee, de Corea del Sur, acaecido el día de ayer, 7 de febrero.
Major Lee es miembro de la Junta de Gobierno del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo desde 1981 y fue honrado por nuestro organismo con el “Lifetime Achievement Award”.
Desde nuestras oficinas centrales ofrecemos al compañero y amigo las mas sinceras condolencias y esperamos que se recupere pronto del golpe recibido.

The World Boxing Council is announcing today that the organization will observe a day of mourning for the passing away of the wife of one of its members, Major Lee, of South Korea. Mrs. Lee passed away yesterday February 7th, 2010.
Major Lee has been a member of the World Boxing Council Board of Governors since 1981 and was awarded the “WBC Lifetime Achievement Award” by our organization.
From our head offices, we present our deepest condolences to our friend and we hope he soon recovers from this painful situation he is going through.
