The camp of Omar Niño is planning protest Saturday’s technical draw against WBC 108lb champion Rodal Mayol. Niño’s manager Hector Garcia is seeking to have the result overturned in favor of Niño and claims to have evidence Mayol was “playing dead” after Niño hit him just after a low blow which Garcia claims had no effect on Mayol. The protest will be submitted during the WBC’s weekly meeting.
