Hello Jill,

We had a fantastic afternoon at the Chapingo University with an audience of 800 students and students-advisors who were participating in conferences organized by the University and the Youth Integration Center.

Virginia Gutiérrez, Chief of the Unit for the Students Attention and Carmen Medina, Director of the Texcoco Youth Integration Center were the hosts.

The Former Champions Carlos Zárate and Víctor Rabanales shared their life testimony with the students who always showed great interest and admiration. At the end of the conference, the Champions signed authograps in their pictures (provided by the WBC), books, t-shirts, backpacks, hats and all the available material they had. Lots of pictures were taken also with the WBC Championship belts and the Champions.

I want to thank the support of Vero Medel who couldn´t be there and the attendance of Marco Antonio Sandoval, Mexico City Boxing Comissioner, also the donation from my father to one of the Centers who received some boxing equipment to begin boxing practices there.

Let me tell you that the Chapingo University (Federal) receives 20,000 applications per year and only 2000 students are admited comming from differents parts of the country. They arrive to study junior high school and engineering (agropecuary). This population is very vulnerable to the drugs and alcohol as most of them lives alone at the university or close to it. So this is the reason that the Youth Centers work very close to them to prevent and advise them to make maximun use of the University services.

Thank you Jill, thank you Don José and Mauricio to create the channel to contribute for the youth welfare. Also to my father who allow me to take time for this so rewarding activity!
