In front of more than 14,000 fans at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (45-0-1, 31 KOs) defeated Marco Antonio “Veneno” Rubio (53-6-1, 46 Ko’s) by way of unanimous decision, retaining for the second time, the WBC meddleweight world title.

After 12 rounds of action, Julio took all three scorecards by 118-110, 115-113 and 116-112 that made clear his superiority in the ring.

The people, who was very excited, applauded the two fighters at the end of the meeting, acknowledging the superiority of the son of the leyend, who was confirmed as the best middleweight fighter of the world.
