More and more Mexican fans keep coming to this beautiful city in the state of Texas that this weekend will become the capital of the World Boxing Council.

The young Undefeated Julio “El Pollito” Ceja, knows what it´s to have three titles, two of the FECARBOX (super flyweight and bantamweight), and the Mexican Golden Belt.

Ceja (18-0, 17 KOs) was very happy yesterday when WBC President Jose Sulaiman, gave him the belt that accredits him as the new FECARBOX (118 pounds) champion, which won by knocking out Ronald Barrera, from Colombia, last Saturday in Jilotepec, Mexico.

“I hope you keep this belt for a long time”, said Sulaiman to this fighter from Atizapan, Mexico.

 “El Pollito” who is represented by Antonio “Cañitas” Lozada said: “This forces me to be better every time. Someday I’ll be a WBC world champion.”

He was accompanied by his father, Armando Ceja and his brother Luis “Gallo” Ceja (22-1-3, 17 KO´s), who is the current FECARBOX flyweight champion, and also fought on Saturday against Ruben Ruiz, from Argentina, who beat by unanimous decision.

Zulina “La Loba” Muñoz, and Robinson “Robin” Castellanos are ready to step into the ring and fight against Paulina Cardona and Orlando Rizo this Saturday at the Jose Cuervo Saloon in Mexico City.

The silver champions, Zulina (bantamweight) and Robinson (featherweight) were surrounded by TV cameras, photographers and journalists in the usual Tuesday meeting with Don Jose Sulaiman at the WBC headquarters in Mexico City.

Zulina “La Loba” Muñoz, who is the current WBC bantamweight silver world champion, yesterday approved the official weigh-in as required by the World Boxing Council seven days before the fight, registering 116.404 pounds, 1.5 pounds below the limit of her division, as next week, will defend her title against Paulina Cardona from Colombia in the Jose Cuervo Saloon in Mexico City.

The event took place at the “Boxeo de Gala” Gym, which is owned by Dr. Fausto Daniel Garcia.
