AWARD GIVEN TO
CARLOS PADILLA BECERRA
During the closing ceremony of the 47th World Boxing Council Annual Convention, which was recently held in Jeju, South Korea, it was agreed to award Licenciado Carlos Padilla Becerra by giving him the WBC Humane Award of the year.
Carlos Padilla Becerra, who is the Technical Secretary of the Surveillance Commission of ISSSTE, has been a constant man of good feelings, always an element of boxing, as he is former General Director of Sports in Mexico City among other important positions he has held, and because he has always been close to Mexican boxing.
He currently collaborates with WBC President, Jose Sulaiman Chagnon, and he does it passionately, with quality and commitment that only a few times can be seen in a government official, reason for which he is being paid this homage.
There are many people who owe very important services to this great Mexican, and we are sending him our warmest regards.
