The World Boxing council and the California State Athletic Commission have reached an amicable agreement between the chairman of the CSAC and the executive secretary of the WBC, for the appointment of 2 foreign and 2 American ring officials, which is called by the rules of the WBC for all title bouts, which is the case of the fight to be celebrated in California on Saturday for the WBC’s vacant superlight weight championship, between Devon Alexander , from the USA and Junior Witter from England.
The fight was on the verge of not being approved by the WBC due to the fact of the appointment of 4 American ring officials on a title bout that had an English fighter aganins an American.
