Thailand’s former WBC Batamweight Champion and legend boxer Veerapol Sahaprom. accompanied by World Boxing Cares representative Kiate Sirigul, made a surprised visit to help children in need in Bangkok at Ban Kru Noi. About 67 children – aged from 3 to 16 years – welcomed and flocked around Veerapol who is regarded as a Thailand sporting idol. Veerapol allowed the kids to get close and touch his famous WBC Championship belt. The gathering of children was filled with admiration for the former great champion that provided inspiration for a better future. The children were treated to a special lunch with Veerapol as part of the WBC Cares program that helps children in need around the world.
