“Canelo” Alvarez will be “AMBASSADOR OF GUADALAJARA 2011″ Pan American Games

At the Julian Magdaleno Gymnasium, home of the preparation of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, was the Governor of Jalisco, Emilio González Márquez to witness ‘live’ a formal training of the charismatic fighter.

The Gobernor, called the ‘Canelo’ to be proud ambassador of the Pan American Games Guadalajara 2011, “so that in all places where you go tell them we’re working to make some great games next year”.

Gonzalez Marquez gave to Alvarez the official sportswear and Alvarez  port it immediately, the youngest of the Dynasty said that he feel very proud by the received invitation.

Saul and his team also said that the invitation by the State Gobernor and the President of the Organising Committee of the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, makes them feel full of satisfaction and responsibility, as athletes and as people.

González Márquez noted every detail of the four rounds of intense preparation of Saúl and his luxury  sparring  José Luis ‘Chelin’ Cruz.

The Governor of the State stopped a moment to observe, with the explanation of manager Jose ‘Chepo’ Reynoso, photographs and medals of  ‘Saul’ in his time as champion of the National Junior Olympics Jalisco, representing the years 2005 and 2006.
