Edgar Sosa hit back‏ !!

Former world flyweight Champion of the WBC, Edgar Sosa had a comeback to win by knockout in the second round to Roberto “Mako” Leyva, at the Mundo Imperial Forum in Acapulco.

Sosa showed he is fully after suffering a fractured inhis left cheekbone after a header from Filipino Rodel Mayol and tonight he showed his forcefulness to end the resistance of its rival.

The first assault was with a few strokes, Sosa sought to find the distance after six months of inactivity.

In the second round Leyva reached out with determination to connect Sosa with hooks to the body and head, but Sosa recovered to unleash his to Leyva.

Sosa dropped combinations to the head of the “Mako” Leyva, which fell seeking refuge from the strings, which took Edgar to release their repertoire at the head of Leyva who suffered the punishment and fell to his right side visibly hurt.

The Mexican international referee Jose Guadalupe Garcia immediately imposed a knockout at 1:12 of the second episode, in a triumphant return of Edgar Sosa to the super flyweight division.

With this result, Edgar Alejandro Sosa improved his record to 38 wins with 22 knockouts and six defeats, while Roberto Carlos Leyva left with 27 to 12, 21 before the limit.
