The next opponent for Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez could be Shane Mosley

The former world champion Shane “Sugar” Mosley may be the next rival of the Argentine Sergio “Maravilla” Martínez, WBC middleweight champion, if managers of U.S. fighter accept the offer  made by the promoter Lou DiBella, representative of the monarch.

Martinez wants to defend the title against Mosley and may be shuffling through weigh 155 pounds, as the top of the middle class is 160 pounds.

DiBella, as mentioned by the website Boxing Science, made the offer to Richard Schaefer, of  Golden Boy Promotions, which promotes Mosley.

For the moment, everything points that Mosley will fight on September 18, at Staples Center in Los Angeles with yet undetermined opponent, though it was mentioned his compatriot Sergio Mora.
