CHUCK WILLIAMS, A RARE NO KNOWN HERO.
Chuck Williams, a very well known member of the boxing community, who has been a member of the WBC for many years and who has traveled the world since his early years, happened to live a memorable experience in flight 34 of United Airlines, as he was returning from the NABF convention on his way to the induction ceremony of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
Chuck Williams bravery took the initiative along with a fellow passenger, Mr. Greg Lowe to control a man who attacked the fly attendants and together with Greg put the attacker to the ground and finally tied him up and prevent what would have turned into a dramatic ending, into a safe landing in New York.
Congratulations to Chuck Williams and Greg Lowe for their brave action, as well as to all those no known heroes that day after day react to a crisis and make the difference in this world.
