This event, promoted by Cesar Mercedes of Manguita Boxing Promotions, Sampson Boxing, LLC, Warriors Boxing Promotions and 340 Boxing Promotions will also feature US Virgin Islands stars Julious Jackson (4-0, 2 KO’s) against Frank Mola (3-0, 1 KO) in a middleweight bout, as well as John Jackson, Samuel Rogers and Otoniel Ortiz all in separate bouts.  This event will also feature up and coming local stars Jenifel Vincente, Javier “El Abejon” Fortuna and Juan Carlos Batista.

Victo Cayo has rapidly risen in the World Rankings since beginning his career in May of 2006 by beating Heth Bello in Santo Domingo.  Cayo captured the WBA Fede Caribe Light Welterweight Titl! e with a second round knockout of Mercedes Nova in October of 2008 and has defended the title 6 times.  Cayo’s most recent win was a 10 round destruction of Former World Champion Julio Diaz in the main event of ESPN2 “Friday Night Fights” on July 31, 2009.

Undefeated contender Julio Reyes has 14 straight wins in his native Dominican Republic.  Reyes stopped the always tough Franklin Gonzales by technical knockout in the 8th round on November 16, 2009 in his last contest.  Reyes figures to Cayo another stern test in his quest to become World Champion.
