FILIPINO promoter Johnny Elorde, one of three sons of the late WBC super featherweight champ Flash Elorde, wants to promote the fight between Philippine and Japanese national champions for the vacant Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) featherweight title on January 30 in Manila.             Elorde offered $5,000 purse to WBC No. 9 Naoki Matsuda plus five round-trip Tokyo-Manila-Tokyo airfare and hotel accommodation and food for five members of his team, including one Japanese judge.             Elorde sent his offer to Matsuda’s handler Akihiko Honda Tuesday from his based at Elorde Sports Complex in Manila. WBC president Jose Sulaiman, WBC ratings committee chairman Frank Quill of Australia, Japan-based OPBF and the Games and Amusement Board in Manila had copy furnished.             Matsuda is 33-year old and five year senior to the OPBF No. 1 contender Rufino, a southpaw.             Matsuda sports a respectable record of 31-8-4, 13 KOs while according to Boxrec, Rufino has 17-7-3, 7 KOs.            Satoshi Hosono also of Japan vacated the title when he decided to accept the chance to fight WBA super bantamweight king Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym on Jan. 11 at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo.
