Samson who is taller and have more experience than her Chinese challenger used her agressive style to beat Yu Jie since the opening round. Yu Jie tried to land some good shots to destroy the Thailander but no more effectiveness. After midmay of that fight Yu Jie lost her power after recieving many big blows to the body therefore Thai champion got points almost every rounds. The final scorcards were read 100-91, 99-91, and 98-93 all for Samson.

Thai former world champion is planning to make her second defence in Chaingmai Province as soon as possible. She wants back to the top level of Asian female fighters and hopes to have a good oppotunity to challenge WIBA World Flyweight title with “The Hawaiian Mongoose” Eileen Miyoko Kuwaye Olszewski of USA in the end of this year.

On April 30, WBA#1 and PABA Super Bantamweight title holder “The Fat Boy” or “The Little Tank” Poonsawat Krathingdaengym of Thailand, who is the former Interim WBA Ordinary World Champion, captured his second temporaly title by an impressive TKO over WBA#5 Rafael “El Proto” Hernandez of Venezuela in round 9 at Morseng Stage in Pathumthani Province, Thailand.

The Thailander used his aggressive and toe-to-toe style to destroy his foe sine the opening bell sound. He landed many devascating shots to Hernandez’s body and face but the Venezuelan fighter who moved down from Featherweight division used hit-and-run style to avoid the attacking of former champion. Hernandez looked tired and less power after round 4.

After the bell sound of round 6, the referee called a point deduction to The Thai after he spend more time in his corner. But Poonsawat stilled landed 1-2-3-4-5 to the Venezuelan as oneway bombartment in that round and following rounds. Because of no responding of Hernandez, the referee designed to stop this fight promptly in round 9 (1:34) and declared TKO winning for the Thailander in this round. Hernandez also throwed up in the bathroom after having stomatch upset followed the fight.

Poonsawat is planning to unify his title with Bernard Dunne who is a currently WBA Ordinary champion of Irland as soon as possible.

Other fight results in the same bill:

Kwanthai Sithmorseng (Chor Na Patthalung) retained his PABA Minimumweight title by TKO4 won over Little Roseman of Indonesia. Fonluang Sor Thanapinyo WKO2 over Masato Hironaka (Sor Thanthip) of Japan in non-title bout.
