On Friday, March 27th, 2009, we took World Boxing Cares on to the Intrepid Museum, where Mark Breland and 10 other former Olympians spoke with 400 NYC school children. The Topic: How to overcome adversity. Honestly… MArk stole the show. The kids seem liked everyone but they responded most enthusiastically to our Mark. His down-to-earth approach and straight talk really got them excited. Unfortunately, Mark had to leave early because he was the only working athlete there. He had one of his fighters in the Golden Gloves that night. PS. His fighter won!
