Thompson Boxing Promotions lightweight Danny “El Travieso” Hernandez (10-0, 6 KOs) was shot in the head last night. Southgate, California’s Hernandez was left by an anonymous person at a clinic at 4AM this morning. He’s been in surgery since 7AM. Doctors don’t know what will happen. The bullet didn’t enter the brain, but he suffered major trauma. Hernandez is at St. Francis Hospital in Lynwood, California. Nobody knows who did it. Promoter Ken Thompson is asking for your prayers and your thoughts for Daniel Hernandez.
