The former world champion Rafael El Torito Concepción is traveling today (Monday 12th) to Mexico, full of ambition and with the sole purpose of defeating the Mexican Fernando “Cochulito” Montiel.  These two fighters will dispute on July 17 the WBC bantamweight world title held by Montiel.  “I am traveling in excellent condition and going with the aim of winning the battle. I feel very strong and I have lot of speed on my fists”. said Concepcion.

For Concepcion to fight in Mexico will not be a problem, as he has international experience.  “My big wins have come out of Panama and now we go with the idea of winning there,” he said.  On his style of fighting, he said he’s not a great stylist, so he will go to the ring with his “smash hits”.

“I’ll get offense from the beginning of the match to put my bombs. That’s my style of fighting so I look to get finish quickly, “he said.
