The Filipino Manny Pacquiao, considered the best fighter on the planet, will fight against the Mexican Antonio Margarito next November 13 for the vacant  welterweight WBC world championship.

“The fight will take place probably in Monterrey, Mexico”, said the promoter Bob Arum that at this time represents both fighters.

 Pacquiao, with 30 years old and seven different categories world champion, could not finally deal with the six time world champion in five different categories; The American Floyd Mayweather.

Margarito, meanwhile, can not fight in Las Vegas because he lost his license for one year after it was discovered that he used a substance similar to plaster in his boxing gloves againts Shane Mosley on January 24 of 2009 in California.

Arum requested a provisional license to the Nevada state authorities for the Mexican and is waiting for response.
