After spending 45 days in Big Bear California, the WBC super welterweight world champion, Saul “El Canelo” Alvarez, will return tomorrow to his native Guadalajara. Very happy for his homecoming, Alvarez announced that tomorrow he will go to the Juan Magdaleno Gym, located at 1667 Dionisio Rodriguez Street, to complete the final stages of his preparations.The battle between Alvarez and mandatory challenger Ryan Rhodes will be held on June 18 at the VFG Arena in Tlajomulco, Jalisco, where it is expected to attract 15,000 fans to support the new big star of Mexican boxing.Prices are available to all pockets, ranging from 150 to 2,500 pesos and the tickets for this great event are now on sale at ticketmaster.com and at the VFG Arena´s box office.
HBO After Dark will broadcast live this first defense of Saul “El Canelo” Alvarez throughout the United States and other countries.
