Right now, Amir Khan (27-1, 18 Kos) is clearly the class of the super lightweight division, but he may not be there much longer, shortly he will not make weight at 140, and the only thing that would keep him at super lightweight would be a matchup with Timothy Bradley, who holds the WBC title.
“There are levels in boxing and Bradley is the same level as me,” said Khan.
Bradley (27-0, 11 Kos) is unbeaten in 27 professional bouts and a fight against Khan would appeal to pay-per-view cable channel HBO, which has invested heavily in the super lightweight division.
