WBC CONVENTION 2015 / CONVENCION WBC 2015

Dear friends:

It is my pleasure to officially announce that the WBC 53rd Annual World Convention will be held in Kunming, Province of Yunnan, People’s Republic of China, from November the 1st (arrival) to November the 7th (departure). The hotel site will be the Intercontinental Kunming Hotel.
We know that many attendees like to know the date of our convention ahead of time to get better airfares that can be obtained for anticipated acquisition of tickets.
We have agreed to have the arrival of all attending delegates as follows:
October 30, Friday Arrival of Ratings Committee
October 31, Saturday Arrival of members of the Board of Governors
November the 1st Arrival of all delegates
We will have the official opening of the convention the morning of November the 2nd. The closing of the convention and returning home of all delegates will be on November the 7th.
Kunming is being prepared to offer the WBC members one of the best conventions ever and I hope that we all will start making arrangements for our convention
People’s Republic of China requires that all attending delegates apply for entry visa. However we recommend that you double check with your travel agent any requirements for such country.

Please take notice of this information, so that we can start organizing this great 53rd Annual Convention in Kunming, for which many surprises are being prepared for the attendants, as well as an important number of recommendations and new suggestions for improving our world of boxing.

Es un placer anunciar oficialmente que la Convención Anual 53 del Consejo Mundial de Boxeo, se llevará a cabo en Kunming, Provincia de Yunnan en la República Popular de China a partir del 1º de noviembre (llegada) al 7 de Noviembre (salida). El “Intercontinental Kunming Hotel” será sede de este gran evento.
Sabemos que muchos asistentes desean saber la fecha de nuestra convención por adelantado con la intención de conseguir mejores tarifas de vuelo.
Hemos acordado organizar la llegada de los delegados de la siguiente forma:
Viernes 30 de octubre Llegada del comité de ratings
Sábado 31 de octubre Llegada de los miembros de la Junta de Gobierno.
1 de noviembre Llegada de todos los delegados
La apertura oficial de la convención será el 2 noviembre por la mañana. La clausura de la convención y la salida de los delegados será el día 7 de noviembre.
Kunming se está preparando para ofrecer a los miembros del WBC una de las mejores convenciones en nuestra historia. Espero que todos comencemos a realizar los preparativos necesarios para realizar nuestra convención.
La República popular de China solicita a todos sus asistentes que apliquen por una visa de entrada. Sin embargo, recomendamos que corroboren con su agente de viajes los requisitos necesarios para entrar al país.
