The proud former WBC title belt holder Manny Pacquiao is staying out of the Philippines until next week.

Pacquiao wants to stay longer in Los Angeles, California, primarily to play more basketball and spend more time with his wife, Jinkee.

On Tuesday, the couple will attend the 62nd National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. They will meet President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and Tibetian leader Dalai Lama.

Obama will address the attendees while Pacquiao and Dalai Lama don’t have speaking role.

The annual program is an annual, historically Christian event at the Washington Hilton.

Hundreds of mostly evangelical and other faith leaders attend.

Pacquiao is a self-proclaimed spiritual leader in his native Philippines while Dalai Lama, a Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, is arguably the most visible symbol of Tibet’s struggle for independence in China.

Last month, the Filipino Congressman, Actor-Singer and basketball player met Prince Harry in a private dinner in London before judging the Miss Universe Pageant in Florida.

Pacquiao also met his promoter Bob Arum about his anticipated superfight against undefeated champion Floyd Mayweather Jr..

The two popular welterweights briefly talk at the Miami-Milwaukee game in Miami. They exchanged phone numbers and talked about their possible clash for WBC-WBA titles on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
