Sonny Boy Jaro Destroys Opponent That Coming From 0-7-2 Win-loss-draw Mark

Former world champion Sonny Boy Jaro easily knocked out a weak opponent in the undercard of double WBC Asian Title bouts Sunday at the Angono Sports Complex in Barangay Mahabang , Angono, Rizal, Philippines.

Jaro (39-13-5, 28 KOs) punished Albert Alcoy (14-22-7, 4 KOs) to put him down twice en route to a TKO win at 1:51 mark of the second round.

It was Alcoy’s 10th ring appearance without a single win while it was the sixth straight win of the 32-year old former WBC and Ring Magazine flyweight champion.

The WBC #5 Filipino contender is building up for a possible title shot this year against the winner between WBC super flyweight champion Carlos Cuadras (31-0, 25 KOs) of Mexico and third ranked Luis Concepcion (32-3, 23 KOs) on March 28.
